EDUCATIONAL TOURS

“Travelling” is a delightful experience, which keeps the students in tune with the mysteries of nature and the life styles of different people. It broadens their horizon and enriches their education.

National level sight-seeing tours, one day picnics and short tours are arranged on a regular basis to places of interest and historical importance. All the students have to participate in any one of the Educational Tours which will be arranged by the Management.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

‘Perform and excel in every front’.

The school has regular physical education programme. Coaching facilities are available for athletics, football, yoga and karate.

Every student is encouraged to take active part in sports activities. Students who excel in any particular sports are identified and given special coaching under the supervision of our physical Education Teachers.

The school provides the necessary infrastructure for indoor and outdoor games.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

To inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship, the school holds intramural tournaments and sports meet and celebrate the day solemnly. It will be the spirit to participate rather than vying for the gold which will be the desirable goal.

DANCE: BHARATHANATIYAM / WESTERN

Dance classes will be conducted twice a week. A nominal fee will be charged.

YOGA , KARATE & NUN – CHAKKU

Yoga, Karate & Nun Chakku classes will be conducted twice a week. A nominal fee will be charged.

MUSICAL – VOCAL / INSTRUMENTAL

Music classes will be conducted twice a week for boys and girls. A nominal fee will be charged.

SCHOOL HOUSE SYSTEM

The School follows the House system to group the staff and all the students into four houses viz Blue, Green, Red and Yellow.( Gandhiji, Nehruji, Indhraji , Rajaji)

Each House has Guide staff, Students Captain, Vice-Captain and a group of students who help in the maintenance and layout of the House.

There should be a healthy competitive spirit among the houses to excel in studies, games, athletics and other co-curricular activities.
